Jakarta: President Prabowo Subianto has extended his Christmas 2025 greetings to Christians in Indonesia and around the world, while offering prayers for communities affected by recent natural disasters.
The message was delivered through a video uploaded to the Presidential Secretariat’s official YouTube channel on Thursday, December 25, 2025.
“I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of the government and in my personal capacity, wish a Merry Christmas to all Christians in Indonesia and wherever you may be,” Prabowo said.
“May the peace of Christmas bring love, blessings, hope, and strength to us all,” said the President.
The President noted that this year’s Christmas celebrations are taking place amid floods and landslides that have struck several regions, particularly Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
“May our brothers and sisters in these regions be protected by the Almighty, and may their suffering be eased,” he said.
Prabowo also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to assisting disaster-affected communities, stressing that recovery efforts remain a priority.
“Let us continue to work together to overcome the difficulties faced by our brothers and sisters,” the President concluded.
